Recently we have been working on a bespoke Mini-ITX case to house the ATLANTIS for MiSTer. Due to the impact this undertaking has on our limited resources, unfortunately for the time being we do not have a plan to restock SKELETOS kits.
However, we do intend to release all ATLANTIS 3D printable model parts online in the coming weeks so that the kits can be made locally by anyone. A comprehensive guide on assembly will be added to the current downloadable pdf from the FAQ in due course.
Also, a quick note on how to enable SNAC support with ATLANTIS for MiSTer side by side configurations:
Short jumper wires between the IO board pins and their respective sockets on the Arduino header on the DE10-Nano are all that is needed to enable SNAC support. We have successfully tested this configuration with an N64 controller within the N64 core. Excessively long 100mm jumpers were used in this test case but you can comfortably go much shorter.
Suggested components:
- 7pcs male to female (DuPont) short jumper wires.
- 1pc USB 3.0 flat extension cables. NOTE: This must be the S3A-S4B option which has the correct orientation of the USB connector to insert into the IO board while on the ATLANTIS. A 7cm length is sufficient and is available here https://a.aliexpress.com/_mqtFlhy
- 1pc N64 SNAC adapter (or other SNAC accessories)
As always, thanks so much for the support from our friends on ATLANTIS.
